IT Director
Job description:
lvl*studio is currently looking for a director of technology. The director of technology would be responsible for the execution of all technological projects. He or she would collaborate with other members of management for strategic decisions and would develop long-term plans for his or her sector. The director must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and have great attention to detail. He or she must have experience in designing software or network architectures and must have a firm grasp of the software development process. An understanding of telecom network infrastructures is an asset.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Create software development plans and making sure that deadlines are respected.
- Define a software development methodology.
- Evaluate projects including identifying the effort required as well as the risks.
- Manage the development team resources (hiring and firing).
- Maintain an understanding of various technologies, technological trends, and competitors.
- Ensure that R&D activities are eligible for tax credits.
- Ensure the protection of intellectual property.

(Creative) interaction designer
Job description:
lvl*studio is seeking a creative interaction designer to develop cross-platform products and services. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver: able to understand the needs and scope of a project and create solid and engaging solutions.
You would report to the director User Experience; and work alongside other information architects, interaction designers, and game designers. You could expect to work on designing products and services for TV, mobile devices, and the web.
Specific functions
- User and product research (needs analysis):
- Benchmarking, product research
- Personas, task analysis, feature requirements / prioritization
- Design
- Creative conceptual development
- Navigational models
- Detailed storyboards, screen flows, or process diagrams (wireframes)
- Content for immersive products: writing / storytelling
- Documentation for hand-off to internal development teams and external clients
- Evaluation
- Heuristic evaluations and usability assessments
Core skills and experience
- University diploma in UX design, multi-media design, human factors engineering, or other related field
- 2 to 5 years experience in information architecture
- Demonstrated creativity
- Good knowledge of Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash), facility with all MS Office applications
- Very strong knowledge of Internet technology.
- Advanced knowledge / experience in the following will be considered as strong assets:
